Questions we hear
Google Cloud FAQ.
Is Admodum a partner or reseller of Google Cloud?
No. Admodum is not a partner, reseller, or affiliate of Google Cloud. The firm carries no Google Cloud margin, no Google Cloud referral commission, no Google Cloud Marketplace listing and no Google Cloud audit subcontract. The buyer is the only client. The independence statement is on every page. See the firm page and the Google Cloud practice page for the documented position.
When should a GCP EDP renewal cycle open?
Twelve months before the renewal date. The workload migration plan reconciliation, the CUD optimisation, the Workspace renewal review and the Vertex AI scope-in all run inside the twelve-month cycle. The Admodum Renewal Programme is the operating framework. The EDP white paper is the reading list.
How does the CUD mix actually work?
Compute CUDs cover compute hours, Spend-Based CUDs cover total spend, and Resource-Based CUDs cover specific resources. The mix is tuned against the workload portfolio and the run-rate forecast. The CUD white paper covers the methodology.
Should BigQuery be on a slot reservation or autoscaling?
It depends on the workload predictability. Predictable workloads sit on reserved slots; bursty workloads sit on autoscaling. The edition mix is tuned per workload, not per organisation. The BigQuery white paper covers the methodology.
How does Admodum charge on Google Cloud work?
Three models. Fixed fee on a scoped engagement, contingency tied to verified savings, and the annual retainer for an estate-wide programme. The engagement model is chosen by the buyer. See Fixed Fee, Contingency, and Annual Retainer.
