Admodum hires senior advisors, audit defence specialists, renewal architects and contract analysts across the fourteen vendor practices. Every named senior advisor at the firm carries a portfolio. The work concentrates on the three exposure moments: audit, renewal, and contract architecture. The career path is partnership at the firm, not promotion against a partner-track quota.

Independent. Buyer-side only.

Every advisor at the firm represents the buyer. No reseller margin, no vendor commission, no audit subcontract. The career structure follows that independence at every step.

Admodum's hiring premise is straightforward. The firm represents the buyer in the most consequential commercial conversations the buyer ever has with a software publisher. That work demands senior judgement, named accountability, and continuous coverage across the publisher's audit and renewal cycles. The career path is constructed around that single demand.

The firm hires across four tracks. Senior advisors lead engagements end-to-end and sign every position paper transmitted on the engagement. Audit defence specialists hold the publisher's audit response cycle from notification through to settlement. Renewal architects own the twelve-month preparation cycle and the negotiation through close. Contract analysts construct the position papers, the benchmarking workings, and the entitlement reconciliation that the senior advisor signs.

The independence condition.

Every advisor at the firm is contractually buyer-side at every engagement. The firm holds no reseller relationship with any of the publishers it advises on, no referral commission on any vendor transaction, and no audit subcontract for any vendor's compliance team. Every hire signs the same independence undertaking the firm itself holds in the engagement letter. That undertaking is the operating condition of the career path.

Career path and partnership.

The senior advisor track ends in partnership at the firm. Partnership at Admodum is named, equity, and signed on every position paper the partner carries. The path runs through portfolio responsibility, sustained closing comparables, and the two-signature countersignature discipline that the firm holds on every transmitted position. Partnership is conferred against the buyer-side outcomes the candidate has produced, not against billable revenue. The firm publishes the partnership criteria internally and reviews them with each candidate at the second-year review.

Hiring process
Four conversations and one written exercise.
Step
i.
Initial conversation with the partner of the practice
Forty-five minutes. The partner of the practice you are applying into. The conversation covers the candidate's portfolio of prior engagements, the rationale for joining a buyer-side advisory firm, and the independence undertaking that every hire signs at offer stage.

ii.
Written exercise on a representative engagement
An anonymised engagement brief. The candidate produces a draft position paper or counter-scope letter in their own time, against a five-day deadline. The exercise is reviewed against the firm's two-signature countersignature discipline.

iii.
Two conversations with senior advisors at the firm
Sixty minutes each. The conversations cover the candidate's written exercise, the buyer-side judgement under pressure, and the named-accountability discipline of the firm. The senior advisors who lead live engagements participate, not a recruiting team.

iv.
Final conversation with the firm's managing partner
Forty-five minutes. The managing partner reviews the engagement portfolio, the proposed practice fit, the partnership-track view, and confirms the offer terms including the independence undertaking that the candidate countersigns at start.

Offer, references, and independence undertaking
Offer letter inside seven days. Three professional references from the candidate's most recent engagements. The independence undertaking is countersigned at offer acceptance and reviewed at every annual review through partnership.
I.
Buyer-side only, every engagement
Every named advisor at the firm represents the buyer at every engagement. No reseller margin, no vendor commission, no audit subcontract. The independence undertaking is signed at offer and reviewed annually.
II.
Portfolio responsibility
Senior advisors carry a portfolio of named buyer accounts. No leverage model, no rotation of junior consultants onto live audit responses, and no anonymised correspondence with the publisher.
III.
Partnership track
The senior advisor track ends in named equity partnership. Partnership is conferred against the buyer-side outcomes the candidate has produced, the closing comparables they have signed, and the named-accountability discipline they have held in writing.
IV.
Seven offices, mobility supported
London, New York, Frankfurt, Singapore, Dubai, Sydney, Toronto. Mobility between offices is supported at senior advisor level and above. Practice teams hold weekly cross-office video calls and an annual in-person practice convening.
V.
Continuous training in the publisher landscape
Every advisor at the firm holds a continuous training schedule in the publisher landscape they cover. Quarterly engagement reviews, monthly publisher commercial updates, and an annual peer review of every advisor's portfolio.
VI.
Editorial publication
Every advisor at the firm contributes to the published editorial output: the blog, the white-paper library, and the monthly briefing. Editorial output is part of the partnership criteria.
Independence statement
Admodum Compliance is not a partner, reseller, or affiliate of any software vendor. Every advisor at the firm signs the same independence undertaking that governs the engagement letter. The career path is buyer-side at every step.
